Caponga Beach is purchase opportunity in, Fortaleza, Brazil. This land for sale in Brazil stands out from other land purchase opportunities because full infrastructure, such as power, roads & curbs, streetlamps, benches and grass are all ready in place. This enables the buyers in this project around 2 years ahead of the competition.

A small initial investment of £7.5K before legal costs for a plot will net more than £21K in three years.

Professional developers or those with over £100,000 cash to invest can achieve profits of over £600,000 over the same time scale. These amounts are not the most that can be made they are just conservative estimates of the financial returns you can make from this Brazil land for sale.

Caponga Beach provides investors with a choice of 4 investment strategies

Buy a villa plot, build the villa and sell villa within 2 years

Buy up to 16 villa plots and develop up to 16 villas for resale (an option very attractive with larger investors and property developers)

Buy a block, arrange specific planning and build options and sell on as a project

Called the Land of the Sun, Caponga Beach is located in the state of Ceará, Brazil and just half an hour from the bustling capital city of Fortaleza.

This area is one of Brazil’s popular tourist destinations and boasts miles upon miles of white sandy beaches and perfect sunny weather all year round.

Currently, Caponga Beach could be considered a sleepy local fishing port with a number of fish restaurants, bars, a hotel and a dozen fishing boats. However, the planned expansion around the local area is massive with a minimum of 5 new resort developments having already been approved.

The resort developments include Aguas Belas, adjacent to the Caponga Beach site and consist of an 18-hole golf resort, hotels, spas and over fourteen thousand properties while another offers a beach club with several hundred apartments. There is also additional locations in the area with full planning permission for 3,000 detached villas and to complete the picture there is a proposed new marina at the river mouth.

Caponga Beach is going to be one of Ceará’s fastest growing and successful vacation resorts with exciting and unrivalled opportunities.

Kayaking is a recreational sport in which participants use specialized boats called kayaks in a wide variety of waterways. Kayaks are boats which take a number of forms, depending on the function for which they are designed. People can take kayaking trips on the ocean, up rivers, in surf zones, and along white water courses. Participants can often have minimal skills and still greatly enjoy themselves. Some people take kayaks with them when they travel to go kayaking, and others rent kayaks or participate in guided kayaking trips at a destination.

A kayak is a boat with a covered deck and a small hole for someone to sit in. The legs of the sitter are concealed, warm and dry, inside the boat. They were originally designed for use in the Arctic, where cold water spilling into a boat could potentially be dangerous for someone using it. Many traditional kayaks were custom made for the individual user. Kayaks are propelled using double bladed oars, and they can be quite rapid and manoeuvrable.

For kayaking camping trips, waterproof bags which can be stuffed into the kayak are extremely useful. Longer kayaks often have a separate hatch for stowing gear. Kayak camping is a great way to explore the outdoors from the water, pulling ashore to hike, camp, or eat.

Kayaking in Kerala

Kayaking is the best way to explore the backwaters of Kerala. The environmental impact is minimal and the expedition provides an opportunity to meet up with the villagers, understanding their culture and enjoying their hospitality and a lot of other things.

A kayaking trip on the beautiful Periyar and the world famous backwaters of Kerala is a combination of nature while on the Periyar and the village life while on the backwaters. Tourists can indulge in kayaking in the backwaters of Kerala like the Alappuzha, Kottayam, Kozhikode and Thiruvallam and around the mountain where the rivers flow. The scenic landscape is a treat for those kayaking in Kerala.

Backwaters, a large garland of lagoons, lakes, rivers & canals are exclusive to Kerala. The most elaborate and spectacular stretch are near the ancient port city of Alleppey.

As you kayak down these narrow rivulets, lakes and lagoons, what you see will give you a ringside view of life along the backwaters – unhurried and unspoiled, friendly and welcoming.

Accommodation is arranged at well-appointed Heritage Villas, country homes and small family-owned resorts. Ethnic food, unseen stretches of backwaters and genuine small world hospitality makes this experience stand out.

The wide range of backwaters and beaches in Kerala offers stunning experience for the kayaking fans. A life time experience filled with enthusiasm, pleasure, adventure and knowledge of Kerala life style and culture.

While today’s favorite fragrances come to you from a manufacturing plant, ancient perfumers used natural ingredients and traditional methods to make fragrant products. Since many of these original ingredients were also used in ancient pharmacies, even until the 18th century, perfume was widely regarded as an antiseptic and even medicine as much as a cosmetic.

Mentioned in the Bible and other ancient texts, frankincense and myrrh were substances so valuable they rivaled even gold. Frankincense is a resin from a gum tree that is produced in shapes called “tears” when the bark of the scraggly Boswallia tree is disturbed. These trees are rare and grow mainly in arid Middle Eastern lands and require hand-harvesting, contributing to their exorbitant price.

Today, a fragrant product that uses frankincense is Love Butter by Carol’s Daughter.

Myrrh, called a “bitter perfume” in the Christmas Carol “We Three Kings of Orient Are,” is also used today. Myrrh is a gum resin produced from a bush-like desert plant. In Arabic, the name Myrrh means “bitter” and this burnt orange looking substance does indeed have a strong, bitter aroma. Originally used as incense, today Yves St. Laurent’s Opium and Rage of the Seven Sinful Scents by Gendarme list myrrh as an ingredient.

Patchouli and sandalwood are both aromatic woods that come from Asia. Patchouli is grown in the East and West Indies while sandalwood comes from Nepal (about the farthest North it grows), India, Hawaii and Australia. While synthetics are often used today for these endangered woods, they have both been around for millennia as fragrance ingredients and have been prized for their healing properties.

The best-known patchouli scent on the market right now by far is Thierry Mugler’s Angel. Mugler is a French perfumist and his unique Angel perfume is one of those love-it-or-hate-it kind of scents.

Sandalwood is used in aromatherapy and also does double-duty in the perfume world since it can serve as a fixative or anchor to other scents. Sandalwood has never really gone out of style. Today it’s in lots of scents, including Dior Addict by Dior, Escada Magnetism, Hanae Mori Butterly, and the Cartier scent Delices de Cartier.

Amber has got to be one of the most surprising and unusual things that is put into perfume. People who hear that a perfume contains amber typically think of the golden resin used to make jewelry. Actually, that amber is not used in perfume making.

This amber is a short (and nicer-sounding) term for ambergris. Ambergris could be picked up along the coastline and was harvested this way for hundreds of years. It was a gray substance that beachcombers could pick up and sell to factories that used it for a variety of products. Since it had a very distinctive aroma, it was used in perfumery. Ambergris did not smell wonderful by itself, but it blended well with other ingredients and became a staple in perfume-making even before people knew what it was.

Even today, we don’t really know what ambergris is, and perhaps we don’t want to know. Sometime in the 19th century, it was known that this mysterious gray substance, which unpredictably appeared on the beaches of North America and other places, was associated with sperm whales. Today, it is thought that ambergris is a substance that sperm whales regurgitate after dining on their favorite meal of squid.

Be that as it may, amber in perfume today is synthetic stuff, made to mimic the scent of the original ambergris. Amber is found in Dolce and Gabbana’s Light Blue, Vera Wang Princess, and Stella by Stella McCartney, to name a few.

As much as perfume relies on ancient ingredients, including plants (lavender), spices (cinnamon, cloves), flowers (roses, gardenias, honeysuckle, lilies) and fruits (orange, lemon, peach), it also relies on new ingredients.

The biggest “new thing” in perfume is the fact that today we live in a global village. Flowers indigenous to exotic lands can be easily obtained and put into perfume. We can now take advantage of Eastern spices, South Pacific flowers, North American musk, and Indian woods. Of course, much of this happens at the lab level, meaning in the form of synthetics. This helps preserve natural resources and makes perfume quality more uniform.

Another interesting new wrinkle in the perfume world occurred in the 1920s with the advent of a chemical substance called aldehyde. Aldehyde is a synthetic odor molecule but unlike other synthetics, this wasn’t a fake anything. Aldehyde was artificial and not meant to mimic anything natural. It has a distinctive “sparkly” quality to it and is often mixed with florals. Probably the best known aldehyde scent in the world is the perennial favorite, Chanel No. 5. The creator of Chanel No. 5, Ernst Breaux, also created Evening in Paris, a much more difficult scent to find, but another one that uses sparkling aldehyde notes.

Today, we’ve added to our roster of synthetics plus we’ve blended more and more exotic ingredients together. Technology has also allowed us to capture unusual scents in perfume-you can find perfumes today listing “ozone” as an element or “chocolate.”

Hawaii is actually made up of six separate islands. Maui is small compared to the “Big Island”. But that doesn’t mean anything, because what Maui lacks in size, it makes it up in it’s atmosphere and personality. Maui serves up plenty of historic and cultural attractions that will captivate your imagination, while exposing the timeless traditions of this magical island. For example, the town of Lahaina is a National Historic District. This was once a thriving whaling port. History buffs will enjoy Lahaina-Kaanapali and the Pacific Railroads provide history lovers with an unforgettable journey into the area’s plantation past.

“Paradise” is a word that that has been used to describe Maui. Any way you slice it, vacationing on Maui is an experience that will bring families closer together. The good news is that there is also a focus on fun and education. You have your pick of outdoor activities, and the Native Hawaiian culture adds to the world-class attractions. The Hawaiian culture focuses on the importance of children and family, and many hotels and resorts have kid and student discount programs available.

Maui’s climate (or better yet climates), is a very unique subject in itself. You can go from a desert to a rainforest, all in a matter of hours. And because Maui is small, you can plan a daytrip easily and know that you are going to catch all the sights. It’s commonplace to visit the top of Haleaka at 10,000 ft, and still have time to go snorkeling in the calm blue ocean, all within the same day.

Maui’s marine environment is spotlighted at the Maui Ocean Center in Ma’alaea. With a wide variety of hands-on exhibits, aquarium displays and a “touch pool”, visitors can get close and personal to various ocean creatures like sea urchins and starfish. Some of the other features include live jellyfish, colorful reef fish, shrimp, eels, skipjack tuna, octopus, lobsters, all sorts of different types of rays and even sharks

The Maui Tropical Plantation is another attraction which spotlights the Island’s agricultural history. Visitors can take tram tours and see how plantations have played an important part of Maui’s growth. You will see acres of sugar cane, papaya, guava, mango, banana, pineapple, kona coffee and macadamia nuts. It’s very interesting, and guaranteed to have you sitting on the edge of your seat.

Be sure to make time to visit the Hawaii Nature Center. Here you will discover more more than thirty hands-on exhibits that will enable you to learn about Maui’s environment. Would you like to be able to experience the ability to see a hundred directions at once? “Life As A Dragonnfly” is just one of these exhibits that kids and adults will find fascinating. The Naturalists offer a guided tour called the “Rainforest Wilderness Walk” which gives you a detailed background of the history of the area called the “Tao Valley.” You will walk away with a greater appreciation for the gifts that nature gives us.

Of course the beaches are another great way to spend your time getting to know the area. Kaanapali Beach (which has also been referred to as “Dig Me” beach), is one of Maui’s best beaches. Kaanapali Beach is four miles long, and runs alongside the sea channel for almost it’s whole length. The sand is a golden color and has a paved beach walk path. The swimming is awesome and there are many beach activity vendors, offering any type of water activity or equipment that you could imagine.

Whether you stay in the upscale resort hotels or Maui’s beach parks and camping facilities, you are guaranteed to have great memories. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself back in this beautiful island again. There’s just something about the magnetic attraction of Maui.

When individuals start thinking about planning their vacation, they may have a variety of places in mind from which to choose. With its wonderful scenery and vast array of couple’s activities, it is hard not to feel the romance in the air while visiting Maui. Love is definitely in the air on the island of Maui.

Spectacular Nightlife

For this reason, it is important to highlight the great nightlife that one can experience while in Maui. Whatever the desire, Maui is sure to offer options for vacationers.

Friendly Atmosphere

Maui is also a tourist spot which is known for its friendly residents and fun tourists. What better way to spend a vacation than one surrounded by friendly individuals

Best Beaches

With its beautiful sand and shimmering water, the beaches in Maui are some of the best in the region, if not the world. In fact, the beach which was voted the best in the world is located right on Maui, which is Wailea Beach. Wailea Beach is one which tourists must see while on vacation in Maui.

Maui has so much to offer those who decide to vacation on the island. Whether one is looking to engage in exhilarating outdoor activities or simply achieve a little rest and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Maui is sure to please.
First Impression:

Arrival to Kauai (and Maui 2 years ago) was similar. The open design airport greeted me with only air-conditioning being the trade winds. This openness and fragrant air have brought the Maui memories back, and I knew that I was in Polynesia. We proceeded to the rental car, and found our hotel. It was already dark and opening the room window was scary – I could hear the roaring ocean but I could not see how far it is. I realized at that moment how remote we are, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

Kauai climate:

Warm year-round with rainier period signifying the winter. The winter is generally Nov – April, and summer May – October. The temperatures are balmy, often not exceeding 90 F. Trade winds are enough to cool you down; hotels provide air-conditioning for those who like it really cold. There are many micro-climates from the wettest spot on earth being the top of a Kauai mountain with over 400 inches of rain per year, to a much more arid south and west parts. It can rain at any time and showers are quite enjoyable and warm. They tend to pass quickly in the summer months. Rainbows are common. Kauai rarely suffers a hurricane. Since Kauai is closer to northern storms, the winter surf is exceptionally high making it a surfer’s paradise. Winter months are not good choice to visit northern beaches that could be closed due to safety issues. If visiting in winter, you should choose south shore that has calm water during this time. During summer, the northern part is pure paradise while the surf is higher on the south side of the island because the waves are the after-effect of the southern hurricanes.

Geography and waterfalls:

Kauai is the oldest of the Hawaiian Islands and its crater is a rainy meadow only accessible via a helicopter. The plentiful rain has carved the most impressive mountain range with very sharp peaks that are green with tropical vegetation. While the waterfalls are plentiful, they are often difficult to access, and the easiest way to see waterfalls is a helicopter tour – which we didn’t do due to the cost. There are some smaller waterfalls that are easy to access, but almost all large ones require a very difficult hike.

Kauai beaches:

While Kauai names their beaches, I will have to argue this is just for the sake of being able to give directions to a particular stretch of sand. Kauai is all beaches on most sides of the island. They stretch for miles with Polihale being over 15 miles long. Sometimes beaches have different names but they are all on the same magnificently long stretch of gold sand… the testament of the ocean power. The Kauai beaches can be particularly dangerous with undertow currents, strong shore brakes, lack of beach guard etc. My disappointment was that although being magnificent, I was partly afraid to test these waters myself. After you talk with some local people you understand their respect of the ocean. If in doubt, don’t swim! All Hawaiian waters contain sharks but the shark attacks are rare. In these pristine waters, you are much more likely to drawn than be attacked by a shark. The old Hawaiian saying is: “Never turn your back to the ocean.” A rogue wave can form unexpectedly and pull you in. To be more relaxed select a beach that is protected by a reef such as: Ke’e, Tunnels, Lydgate, Poipu. The reef calms the ocean and also provides for colorful fish all around you; so don’t forget a snorkeling gear. If you do, you can rent it in Kauai.

Kauai wildlife:

Hawaiian sea-monk frequently rests on Kauai beaches. I didn’t get lucky to see one, but if you do, you are not to disturb them. Sea turtles are everywhere and can be seen while snorkeling or simply viewing the ocean. They like rocks and there are many on the south side. I was lucky to see a smaller turtle while snorkeling on the east coast in the Lydgate beach pool. Whale watching is popular during the winter months. There were no whales there in June as they travel each summer to their feeding grounds in Alaska. Kauai doesn’t have any life-threatening animals such as poisonous spiders, snakes etc. The only dangerous animal is wild boar that lives in wilderness and is possible to meet if you choose some off the beaten path hikes. Ocean wildlife is magnificent – plenty of colorful fishes – I saw groups of thousands congregating and loved to swim into them as they would run away from me in all directions and re-assemble again.

What to do in Kauai:

This island is a nature-lovers paradise. You can swim, snorkel, scuba, fish, camp, hike, paddle, bike, sunbathe… anything that has to do with enjoying nature. This island has a ruling that the highest building cannot be taller than the tallest palm (this means max of 2-3 stories high). This keeps the development out of Kauai. The resorts have a hard time capitalizing building on expensive land if all they are allowed to do is 2 stories. This keeps the island very relaxed, low-key, with a lot of local flair. In comparison, Maui has too many resorts, many blocking the view of the coast and beaches. I side with Kauai on this one – why build a solitaire on a small tropical island – it is out of scale, disrespectful of it surroundings.

What not to do in Kauai:

There are hardly any places to go out in Kauai. Many say this is the place for retirees. Not much to do after sunset except dining at the restaurant. This is also not a place to go shopping as many stores operate on island hours – whenever! If you are not into nature, scenery and relaxing, this is not your island. Maui has a lot more of night entertainment and shopping, so if you have to have those things pick Maui.

My favorite 3 things in Kauai:

•	Visit Koke State park and hike from the end of the road to see Kalalau Valley

•	Spend some serious time in the surf town Hanalei and enjoy Hanalei Bay, voted the best beach in America!

•	Visit backcountry and enjoy the scenery – Hollywood filmed close to 100 movies in Kauai with a good reason – scenery is magnificent! Movies filmed here are Jurassic Park, King-Kong, 7 nights-6 days, South Pacific, Indiana Jones, etc.

My favorite 3 things in Maui:

•	Drive to the northeastern part of the island known as “Road to Hana”. This is a very exciting, waterfall-ridden part of the island, and hike to a big waterfall.

•	Spend some time on Kaanapali beach – the resort area that is manicured to perfection.

•	Watch the sunsets that are plentiful as most development is on south and western parts of the island – perfect for sunsets!

Kauai people:

Kauai has very nice, most hospitable people I have ever met. There is a significant amount of homeless, and they are tolerated, even helped by locals. Kauai people are kind, calm and welcoming. Crime is almost non-existent. The only problems if occur are by the visitors to the island – some who come for construction work tend to drink on the beaches and harass tourists a bit. You will quickly know who is who. There is nothing to be afraid of. There is no animosity against tourist such as the case is in Maui.

Kauai uniqueness:

Here, you can drive all the way to the beach, make a campfire on the beach, camp on the beach… Kauai is uniquely free! The whole time no one ever warns you about anything – it seems like everything is allowed.

Hawaiian shave ice is a desert of ice covered with the sugary syrup in 30+ flavors to choose from. The little Hawaiian shave ice stands are everywhere and the cool treat is addictive to all generations. It practically costs nothing to make but they charge between $2.50 – 5.00 per cup, and people just love it. Young and old- everyone wants Hawaiian shave ice.

Chickens in Kauai are free. In fact, this is the world’s largest free-range chicken coupe. I hear the chickens are fair game and pretty tasty. I met a boy who has a pet Chicken Joe. The roosters are annoying and can wake you up at any time.

In conclusion, Kauai is a beautiful corner of the world and part of United States. The only way to understand Polynesia is to pay a visit. Besides being so relaxing, it is also a patriotic thing to do, as Hawaii is now available at great discounts. In Kauai, you will forget about your problems, and the memories will be priceless.
